Thank you to the students of Majuro Cooperative School for the condolence card and photo presented to Ambassador Armbruster in tribute to the students from Sandy Hook school.  On December 20, the entire school put away its red school uniforms and wore green and white, the school colors of Sandy Hook, to honor the children and their teachers who lost their lives in the horrific, tragic event in Newtown, Connecticut.  The students said, “even though we are half a world away and living on a tiny island in the Pacific, we felt the pain and hopelessness of the families and the community of Newtown and we all shed tears as we contemplated their shattered hearts.”
